It’s time to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights and Talli Joe an authentic Indian restaurant based in central London, would love to make this celebration a shining light in your social calendar.

Over the course (excuse the pun) of this festival, we will present an extravagant feast where you will get to experience Indian traditions and sample food that will light up your world.

For the most authentic Diwali experience, guests at Talli Joe will be welcomed as if the restaurant were a typical Indian family home. The interior will be embellished with lights and decorations and the staff will be adorned in vibrant traditional dresses, whilst celebratory Diwali music plays softly in the background. Before being seated the guests will be presented with a “Tilak”, a distinctive red spot of coloured powder worn as a blessing to commemorate the occasion. Following would be a pre-dinner snack of rich nuts, Namkin (savoury) and Chaina Murgi (sweet) as is the custom in most Indian family homes.
